Canada’s Supreme Court Ruling on the Carbon Tax Decision

Canada’s Supreme court ruled today that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s carbon tax is constitutional “as a matter of national concern.”

• This decision is a big victory for the Trudeau government and frankly the climate. Carbon pricing in Canada will become a reality and the industry may finally have some clarity on the issue going forward.
